Guest Comment:
The hotel offered very basic facilities, and although the location was convenient it was not the best. There were no tea/coffee facilities and the room was very dark - poorly lit and located overlooking 'grey buildings' so not helpful in terms of working on laptap for example or for doing other work (which business travellers have to do). You have to leave the hotel and have breakfast in the resturant opposite, which was again a dark place - and breakfast was at best mediocre- actually rather poor. However I have said that I would recommend this hotel to others, however, I only recommend/will use the hotel again myself if there was no others available - in which case it would do. The hotel staff were freindly and approachable, and the rail link was very close by which was helpful. However, I was glad that I was only in this hotel for two nights as any more would have been depressing!

Top Tip:
The new Opera building is a 'must see'. Some of the Museums and Art places close at 4pm, so plan to see them early! It is well worth visiting The Carib restaurant for some good, well cooked and authentic Caribbean food. Take a taxi to get there or the Tram. Also nice area as away from the 'touristic' route with plenty of other choice of restuarants that are not as pricey as in the centre.
